Selecting the Correct Size

The required B&S size depends on the maximum current, cable length, allowable voltage drop and installation conditions. Longer cable runs and higher-current equipment generally require a larger conductor.

Please Note

B&S refers to the cable gauge and is not the same as the conductor’s cross-sectional area in square millimetres. Confirm the required cable size, colour and supplied length before ordering.

Use correctly sized crimp lugs, heat shrink and circuit protection. Battery and starter cable should be installed by a suitably qualified person, particularly in high-current systems.
