Victron LiFePO4 Smart Battery – 12.8V 100Ah

The Victron Energy Lithium Battery Smart 12.8V 100Ah is a high-performance lithium iron phosphate battery designed for dependable energy storage in marine, vehicle, off-grid and backup-power systems. With a nominal stored energy capacity of approximately 1.28kWh, it provides a lightweight, efficient and long-lasting alternative to traditional lead-acid batteries.

Built-in Bluetooth allows battery voltage, temperature and individual cell-voltage information to be viewed through the free VictronConnect app. The battery also features integrated cell balancing and dedicated communication connections for a compatible external Victron BMS.

Bluetooth is provided for monitoring and diagnostics. It does not replace the required external BMS.

External BMS Required

This battery contains internal cell monitoring and balancing electronics but does not contain a complete standalone BMS capable of directly disconnecting chargers and loads.

It must be connected to a compatible Victron BMS, which can respond to battery signals and control the wider system if:

• A cell voltage becomes too high
• A cell voltage becomes too low
• Battery temperature moves outside permitted limits

The correct BMS depends on the system voltage, charging equipment, inverter and installation design.
