The X-Ray Vision 7″ Driving Light is a compact auxiliary lighting solution designed to improve forward visibility during night-time and low-light driving. Its round 7-inch format provides a practical balance between lighting performance and installation size, making it suitable for vehicles with limited mounting space or applications where a large driving light is not required.

Designed to supplement the vehicle’s factory high-beam headlights, this driving light helps illuminate the road, track and surrounding area ahead. Improved forward visibility can make it easier to identify bends, road edges, animals, obstacles and changing surface conditions when travelling through regional, remote or poorly illuminated areas.

This listing is for one individual driving light, making it suitable for replacing a damaged light, completing an existing installation or creating a customised single-light setup.

Improved Night-Time Visibility

Standard vehicle headlights may provide limited illumination when driving through rural, regional or remote areas. The X-Ray Vision 7″ Driving Light adds supplementary lighting ahead of the vehicle, helping the driver see further along dark roads and tracks.

Correctly installed and aimed auxiliary lighting may assist with earlier identification of:

  • Road edges and lane changes
  • Corners and bends
  • Animals near or on the roadway
  • Potholes and uneven surfaces
  • Fallen branches and other obstacles
  • Track conditions
  • Road signs and roadside markers

Compact 7-Inch Design

The 7-inch housing offers a versatile installation size suitable for many four-wheel drives, utes, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and recreational touring setups. Its compact shape can be particularly useful where larger 9-inch driving lights may obstruct airflow, interfere with sensors or exceed the available mounting area.

Before installation, confirm that adequate clearance is available around the light and that it will not obstruct the radiator, number plate, cameras or vehicle safety equipment.

Typical Applications

The X-Ray Vision 7″ Driving Light is suitable for:

  • Four-wheel drives
  • Utes and dual-cab vehicles
  • Passenger vehicles
  • Work and service vehicles
  • Commercial vehicles
  • Agricultural vehicles
  • Touring and camping vehicles
  • Rural and regional driving
  • Off-road and private-property use
  • Replacement of a damaged matching driving light

Installation Information

The driving light should be secured to a strong, stable mounting point capable of supporting its weight under vibration and normal vehicle movement. After installation, the light must be aimed correctly so that it improves visibility without creating excessive glare for other road users.

Installation may require a compatible wiring harness, relay, fuse, switch and mounting hardware. These items should not be assumed to be included unless specifically shown or stated in the package contents.

For road use, auxiliary driving lights should generally operate with the vehicle’s high-beam circuit and switch off when high beam is deactivated. Installation must comply with applicable Australian vehicle standards and local road regulations.

Please Note

This product is sold as a single driving light, not a pair. If two matching lights are required, order a quantity of two.

Confirm the exact voltage, light source, electrical rating, beam pattern, connector type, mounting dimensions and package contents before installation. A qualified automotive electrician is recommended for safe wiring and correct high-beam integration.
